www.e-derslik.edu.az e-textbook portal, was put in use by The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic.
Complete informatization of education system, is one of priorities of The Ministry of Education. Goal of portal’ compilation is to motivate the students in education process, also make opportunity for the students to effectively use Information Communications Technology, read the textbooks in e-format. This system will increase mobility in textbooks’ usage by the pupils. Pupils can appeal the textbooks anytime and anywhere. Downloading the textbooks in online form or via tablets, users will get chance to read the textbooks in electronic form, also make relevant electronic notes in any page of textbook in online regime. It will certainly make favourable condition for individualization of teaching process of the pupils.
There are other priviliges of e-textbooks:
- Existence of visual means- graphics, animation, interactive action and other multimedia features;
- Storage of large volume details;
- Possibility of the notes made on the texts;
- Easy usage- existence of detection system.
It shoul de be noted that, 10 textbooks on VI grade, have been placed in e-book shelf under electronic form. 10 textbooks on VI grade, 5 textbooks on II and III gardes, will be presented to the users in electronic form till the end of this year.
