One-third of the students who applied in SABAH groups, selected Azerbaijan State Economic University.
First meeting of Academic Council of Azerbaijan State Economic University for 2014/2015 academic year.
Adalat Muradov, professor, rector of university stated that, Azerbaijan State Economic University keeps 1 st place among 7 base universities in SABAH groups established initially in our country. Pointing fact on selection of Azerbaijan State Economic University by the students who appealed SABAH groups, rector added that it’s future of higher education. Therefore, Azerbaijan State Economic University differently approached to the audiences where SABAH youth will study. Rector stated that, we created the same model in “SABAH”. Condition created for SABAH will be applied to all university.
Works performed by purose to increase staff potential in Azerbaijan State Economic University, have been talked in Academic Council. It was stated that, 309 person applied to commission “Recruitment and replacement of employees” of univrsity. 75 of them, have been appointed in higher post, 20 applicants who studied in abroad, have been recruited.
It was stated that, wages of Azerbaijan State Economic University’ collaborators, have been increased to 15 % since october 1. As financial base of university grows, the wages will be increased. In the case of retirement of 10 senior-lecturers aged 75-80 under voluntary principle, their annual wages will be presented them on the same day.
Council’ s membrs also discussed study fee debt collected in the amount of 275 000 Azn of 74 students of Special Talents faculty. It was decised that, this debt should be paid on the account of Azerbaijan State Economic University.
It was proposed to change name of general economy faculty with economy and industry faculty. Proposal was voted and adopted.
“Discipline rules of the students inside of university” has been adopted together with “Discipline rules of the employees inside of university” given to discussion of the students and university’ collaborators from june in the meeting. These rules came to force since september 22.
Issues like development of work with the citizens, compilation of staff schedule of university till the end of year, have been discussed in Academic Council. It was decised that, reception schedule of the pro-rectors should be determined and placed in website of university.
Functioning of Master Degree in Business Adminstration through separating from Master Center as department, has been declared and adopted in Council.
