Successful performance of the pupils of secondary music school named after Bulbul of The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic.
V International contest of young vocalists by name Yelena Obraztsova, prominent opera singer in St. Petersburg and Chamber Music International Contest dedicated to memory of spanish vocal master Konchita Badia, have been held on august 25-30, 2014. Chinara Azimova and Sona Isgandarli, pupils of secondary music school by name Bulbul represented Azerbaijan in this prestigious contest where 147 youth vocalists from 11 countries took part. Khuan Pons (Spain), Beatris Parra (Ecuador), Bruno Praktika (Italy), Migel Lerin (Spain), Makvala Kasrashvili (Russia), Galina Pisarenko (Russia), Ruzanna Lisisian (Russia), have been invited to jury of contest.
Azerbaijan performers achieved great success in the contest. So, Azimova Chinara pupil of VII grade, winner of International contests, has been awarded to the name of winner and she kept II place by decision of jury. Isgandarli Sona, pupil of VIII grade winner of International contests, has been awarded to the name of contest’s diplomat. Performance of Azimova Chinara attracted great attention of audience in final cencert and awarding ceremony of the winners held in Great hall of St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after D. Shostakovich on september 1. Teacher of both of two vocalists Irada Khalilova, candidate of Art Criticism.
