Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Education is the future of the nation!

First 300 students will be given additional 100 manat scholars who obtained 500 and more points in admission to the universities also note first teacher specialty in specialty choice.

According to State Strategy on education’ development, reform-oriented actions aimed to increase of reputation of teacher occupation as well as training of teacher and education managers who have professional knowledge and the competencies, are continued.

Important decisions have been adopted by The Ministry of Education during the past 1 year on this sphere.

Several significant novelties have been applied in student admission plan on pedagogical specialties for 2014-2015. Admission on pedagogical specialties have been stoped to several universities and higher education branches, also “primary education teahcer” and “Information science teacher” for the colleges.

Vacant positions on specialty “preschool teaching and education” is planned 38 % less than previous academic year in the colleges.

Firstly, test assessment of knowledge and competence of the teachers functioning in the secondary schools was held in Baku.

Review of content of teaching programs is envisaged in the universities engaged in training of pedagogical staff.

Displacement and centralized recruitment of the teachers, are implemented by contest under electronic mechanisms.

Additional actions plan is prepared in order to stimulate labor of young teachers functioning at rural settlements.

Novelty on practical experience of the teachers, will be applied from the next academic year. So, extension of probation period in teacher training process. By this purpose, probation hours will be increased for future teachers in the schools.

Special stimulation programs will be implemented for the students admitted in teacher specialty from new academic year. So, special priviliges will be applied for yout who obtain higher point and selected these specialties. Additional 100 manat will be given to 300 students who celebrate first teacher specialty in specialty’ choice and obtain 500 more point in the universities. If number of students is less than 300, in this case selection will be made among the students pointing teacher specialty in the second place.
