“Graduate-2014” common republic fair has been held on May 23 in Azerbaijan State Economic University (ASEU).
More than 100 state bodies, industry establishments, company and the banks took part in fair organized within framework of “Industry year” by support of The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Youth and Sport, The Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Mikayil Cabbarov, The Minister of Education, Niyazi Safarov, Deputy Minsiter of Economy and Industry, Intigam Babayev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport, Adalat Muradov, Rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University took part and reviewed fair.
Representatives of state and private bodies informed education minister about the vacancies. Minister was interested in occupation option and recommended them to select occupation correctly.
Record indicator has been recorded according to number of the participants in “Graduate-2014”. So, nearly 2500 graduates took part in this event. At the same time, 67 university graduates of 12 countries (USA, Turkey, Russia, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia) took part at the same time.
Nearly 1000 vacant positions have been offered to youth in “Graduate-2014” so, it’s a the highest indicator recorded up today. Meetings of the graduates with the representatives of state and business bodies has been organized in fair. The most talented and promising graduates will be provided with constant and temporary jobs.
Employers presented the graduates the vacancies, internship, scholarship and exchange programs under different specialties within framework of fair.
Within framework of event, fair has been organized for the pupils of grade XI of education complex No. 132-134 in Baku. Goal is to increase interest of the pupils to economic-based specialties in occupational options.
Also, sale-exhibition which consist of drawing and works of applied art prepared by the teens who need special care, deprived from parental care, has been organized by Student Youth Organization of Azerbaijan State Economic University and “Damla” Low Income Families Care Public Union. Money collected from hand works sold in exhibition, will be given o the children who need care. Goal is to detect their creative potential and integration of the children who need special care, to community.
Besides, different winning lotteries, prize campaigns, the contestm awardings and other motivating actions have been taken for student and the graduates during the day.
Personal details of all graduates who appeald, have been submitted in state bodies and private companies.
