Education is the future of the nation!
On April 24th, "Travel to Netherlands - the land of flowers" painting exhibition held at Fine and Applied Art Hall of Child-Youth Creativity Palace named after Tofig Ismailov came to an end.
In the exhibition held in Azerbaijan within the scope of Netherlands days, nearly 300 paintings of pupils from Baku schools were demonstrated.
The event was attended by Robert Jan Gabriels, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in our country and representatives of Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic. At the closing ceremony, in which Dutch artists also took part, pupils were presented with certificates and memorial gifts of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The authors of the best three paintings were awarded with special gifts. Master classes by Dutch artists will be conducted for the pupils with special abilities.
It must be noted that, 26 selected works of exhibition will be demonstrated in "Eurovillage" cultural event that will be held in Ichari Shahar (Inner City) State Historical-Architectural Reserve.
