Ongoing research by the Ministry of Education
On April 4, The Second French-Azerbaijan Educational Forum has begun work at a ADA University at the joint organization of the Agency “Campus France” and the Embassy of France in Azerbaijan.
Discussions at the Forum, covered the priority directions in systems of higher education in Azerbaijan and France and ways of promoting cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Rector of the University ADA Hafiz Pashayev said that the aim of the Forum is to obtain more complete information about the higher education establishments in France. Stressing the importance of the Forum, Rector of ADA expressed hope that Azerbaijan and French students will derive from this action benefit for themselves and will draw the corresponding conclusions.
Hafiz Pashayev has told about the communications constructed on sincerity between our people and the countries, about effective cooperation in political, economic and cultural spheres. Hafiz Pashayev has noted a high level of attitudes between our countries and has emphasized, that the ADA university expands frameworks of cooperation with universities in many countries.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov described the projects in education system of Azerbaijan, the state care of the Azerbaijani youth which is training abroad and about works, carried out in this direction. The Deputy Minister declared that education development – is one of the priorities of the country's leadership. As well as in other areas, in education sphere of Azerbaijan realize important projects and long-term state programs are prepared.
The Minister of Education noted, that “The State Program for the education of Azerbaijan youth abroad in 2007-2015”, approved by Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev from April 16, 2007 year is successfully realized. To this day within the State Program providing creation of uniform system in the direction of education of the talented Azerbaijan youth abroad, 2612 young Azerbaijan people are sent abroad for training in the advanced higher educational institutions of the different countries of the world. In General, the measures which are carried out in an education system, along with the economy development, also play an important role in the formation of a strong human resource capacity.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier touched upon the issues of expanding cooperation between our countries in education, and from the point of view of future development of these communications, has emphasized an indispensability of the periodic organization of similar actions. Having emphasized that France is resolutely adjusted on expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan, the Ambassador noted that nowadays there are great opportunities for joint collaboration.
At the event, between University of the ADA and IESEG School of Management has been signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding.
Forum continuation is provided on April 5, by an educational exhibition. At an exhibition students will receive the information on training opportunities in France, about grants available nowadays. At the same time, the Forum will be followed by a meeting with the Azerbaijan graduates of higher educational institutions in France.
