  • Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Education is the future of the nation!

On March 12, the Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov participated at the section "Skills and education are development of human capitals in Azerbaijan", of the "Azerbaijan Investment Summit 2020 and Beyond; Accelerating Economic Development" conducted in Baku.

Having greeted participants of the summit, Minister of Education has in detail informed attendees on an education system, about the planned objectives and about the main tasks of spent reforms. Having emphasized, that the education system of the country passes the way of progress based on traditions, generated during long years, minister has noted continuous character of the reforms appropriating modern requirements. He has noted, that modern education reforms are connected not only with technologies or with a content, but also cover all directions, including questions of progress of human resources.
In opinion of minister, “The State Strategy for the development of education in the Republic of Azerbaijan” covers the basic directions of spent reforms, a professional training in view of modern requirements, governance, an infrastructure, financing and perfection of other areas. The minister has expressed confidence, that paces of reform in education area depend on readiness of a society for variations.
Stressing the importance of cooperation between business and education, the minister noted that the review of the education system in accordance with the goals and objectives of the national economy is one of the important conditions. "Our goal is to provide labour market with high-quality personnel. We, in accordance with the realities of Azerbaijan, using best practices and taking into account that sustainable economic development requires a solid foundation based on human resources."
The Minister of Education also spoke about priorities of progress of the initial vocational education & training which is playing a major part, from the point of view of satisfaction of demand of economy in qualified personnel. The great value has achievement of progress of initial vocational training in Azerbaijan. “Now the economy of Azerbaijan sharply requires the staff with vocational and technical education. For increase of a level of initial vocational training we plan use of experience of a number of countries.”
The Minister has emphasized the importance of cooperation in area of higher education with the prestigious universities which are being abroad. “As a good example, you can highlight the lessons learned in this regard, the experience of university ADA and their cooperation with prestigious institutions of higher education.”
Then the minister has answered questions of participants of the summit, has stated the position on their interesting questions.
