• Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

“Round Table” for Discussion of Goals Envisaged in “State Strategy for Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan” Organized by the Ministry of Education in Sumgait city on November 30.

Heads of relevant structural units of the Ministry of Education, education experts, scientists, school principals, teachers and public representatives took part in the event.
Participants of “Round table” expressed their opinion on the development priorities of education and quality assurance within the State Strategy. Public support was mentioned for successful implementation of the considered provisions within the State Strategy and emphasized the necessity of preparedness of pedagogical employees for relevant reforms and innovations.
Wide exchange of views was held during the discussions, the questions being of interest of teachers and public representatives were responded.
