  • Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Education is the future of the nation!

On April 30, in Sheki took place a scientific – practical conference entitled ‘Continuous improvement of modern education: realities, prospects.’

The conference was attended by Head of Sheki City Executive Power Elkhan Usubov, MP Javanshir Feyziyev, representatives of the Ministry of Education, staff of Institute for Educational Problems, directors of Education Departments of Sheki, Gabala, Gakh, Zagatala, Balaken districts, school directors and other guests.
 First, the guests visited pupils’ handmade exhibition organized at school No.10 of Sheki named after R. Afandiyev. Next, Education Minister Misir Mardanov took part in “open lessons” of maths teachers Almaz Asadova (III class) and Sabuhi Gurbanov (IX class).    
The conference attendees visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev and put flowers in front of it.
Speaking at the opening of the event head of Sheki City Executive Power Elkhan Usubov welcomed the guests and expressed his satisfaction with the conduction of scientific- practical conference in Sheki. He gave information on the ancient history of Sheki, one of the oldest cultural centers in the world, noting the first schools (district and Russian) were opened here in XIX century. According to him, as a result of attention and care provided to the education field by President Ilham Aliyev, the worthy political follower of national leader Heydar Aliyev, 20 new school buildings were constructed and 3 schools were refurbished in Sheki.
Speaking at the event Education Minister Misir Mardanov stressed the high-level organization of ‘open lessons’ that he has attended at School No.10. He underlined the professionalism of both teachers and noted the rapid development of education field in regions.
He talked about the dynamic development of Sheki in recent years and underlined a special attention paid by President Ilham Aliyev, who has successfully continued the political course of national leader Heydar Aliyev, to the social and economic development of regions. He also shared his views about the importance of State Programme for the socio – economic development of regions, as well as works implemented within the program. 
The Minister underlined the importance of holding such events in regions and gave information on relevant statistics regarding education field of 6 regions that covered by the conference.
