Emin Amrullayev met with Azerbaijani students studying in Great Britain
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev is on a business visit to the United Kingdom to participate in the World Education Forum, which is being held in London on May 19-21.
Within the framework of the visit, the Minister of Science and Education met with Azerbaijani students studying at British universities with state scholarships.
At the meeting, Emin Amrullayev informed the students about the reforms and future plans in the field of science and education in Azerbaijan. Talking about the planned large-scale projects to be implemented in the territories freed from occupation, the Minister also talked about the Karabakh University, which will start operating in Khankandi from the next academic year. The Minister said that the goal is to turn this university into a center of international science and research, as well as quality higher education of the Caucasus.
In addition, the Minister, who gave information about the state and double diploma programs for education abroad, international education projects, talked about the work done in the field of doctoral education in Azerbaijan.
Emin Amrullayev emphasized that it is a good thing that more Azerbaijani students study in the most prestigious universities of the world within the framework of state programs. The Minister expressed hope that this indicator will continue with increasing dynamics in the coming years.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister answered the students’ questions and took a commemorative photo with them.
