Two universities in Azerbaijan rank in world rankings
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), an international analytical agency renowned for its comprehensive university rankings, has recently unveiled its highly anticipated QS World University Rankings by Subject for the year 2024.
Azerbaijan was represented in the mentioned rating by the educational programs of two universities. Azerbaijan University of Languages, which has achieved the highest result in the country, has entered the list of 301-340 best universities in the world on the program "Modern Languages". In its turn, Azerbaijan State Economic University has been included in the list of 351-400 best universities in the world in the program "Economics and Econometrics" and in the list of 501-550 best universities in the world in the program "Social Sciences and Management".
It should be noted that the methodology of assessment of the relevant rating includes 5 main indicators: academic reputation, reputation among employers, number of references, H-index and international scientific cooperation index.
