"Famous teachers of Garabakh" - Aliyar Aliyev

The next person of the project of the Ministry of Education "Famous Teachers of Garabakh" is Aliyar Aliyev. Aliyar Aliyev was born on December 14, 1957 in Gazyan village of Gubadli region. After graduating with honorary diploma from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Physical Education in 1979, he worked as a sports teacher in the Dondarli village school of Gubadli region for some time. For two years, Aliyar Aliyev worked as a teacher at Saransk State University and then continued his pedagogical activity in his native village.

Aliyar Aliyev is well known for his heroism in the Garabakh war. He was posthumously awarded the title of “National Hero of Azerbaijan” by the decree of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
