Education is the future of the nation!
The dance group of the Children’s and Youth Creativity Centre of Nizami district, “Azeri pearls” participated in the International April 23rd Children's Festival holding in Fethiye, Turkey.
The collective decently represented Azerbaijan in front of thousands of spectators of the festival with the participation of children’s dance groups from 20 countries. In the framework of the festival was held a dance contest “Gold sun.” Dance groups from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Indonesia, Russia, Georgia, Lithuania and other countries performed beautiful dances.
The composition of “Azeri pearls”, which combined three dances (Nelbeki, Naz eleme, Gaytagi), was met with applause by the spectators. The jury highly appreciated the performance of the group. Our dancers won the third place and received medals.
At the gala concert Elnur Aliyev, member of “Dram” circle of the Children’s and Youth Creativity Centre performed a poem of Bakhtiyar Vahabzade “Azerbaijan-Turkey.” The audience met his performance with prolonged applause. Afterwards, the dance group adorned the concert with their performance. At the end of performance the management of urban municipality wished success to the collective and presented medals and gifts to the children.
