The Dance Collective of Children's Home No 1 in Baku participated in the International April 23rd Children's Festival holding in Izmir, Turkey.
The national dance ensemble of Children’s Home, "Azeri" successfully performed at the international festival holding with participation of 15 countries and gained the audience's sympathy. Pupils of Children’s Home were was awarded diplomas and medals for colorful and interesting performance.
It should be noted that children lived in pre-selected families. The Mayor of Gaziemir Municipality, Halil Ibrahim Senol met with participants on the last day of the festival. Children from Azerbaijan presented him souvenirs.
There were arranged sightseeing for children. They visited the famous Izmir Wild Life Park, as well as the grave of Santa Maria, and enjoyed a trip to the Aegean Sea.
Children closely communicated with other participants and presented them “Karabakh reality” books and disks, reflecting Khojaly massacre, released by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
