The Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev held subsequent meetings in Georgia
On February 22, the Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili in the framework of his visit to this country.
During the meeting, Emin Amrullayev stated that there was close cooperation between two countries in the field of education as in other fields, noted that there were great opportunities for the improvement of this cooperation. As well as, it was discussed the issues of supporting the teaching in Georgian and Azerbaijani languages respectively in Azerbaijan and Georgia, of organization of joint activity directed to advanced training of pedagogical staff.
Then the delegation of the Ministry of Education visited school No 73 of Tbilisi city in which the teaching was conducted in Azerbaijani language, as well as school No 3 in the region of Gardabani. The delegation got acquainted with the condition created in both institutions, met with the teacher-student staff of the schools.
Emin Amrullayev also met with the rector of Georgian Technical University David Gurgenidze. The parties discussed the perspectives of expanding cooperation between the higher educational institutions of two countries.
