International Olympiad in the name of Lutfi Zadeh to be held
On 20-25 December 2021, the International Olympiad in the name of Lutfi Zadeh, a world-famous Azerbaijani scientist and founder of fuzzy logic theory, will take place.
As part of the plan of events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Lutfi Zadeh, an Olympiad on mathematics and computer science will be organized among schoolchildren. Students from all over the world will participate in the Olympiad. The Olympiad, which is planned to be held online, will be open to students under 18 years of age.
It is scheduled to open the Olympiad in an online format on December 20. There will be a competition day in mathematics on 22 December and in a computer science on 23 December. An announcement of the winners and a closing ceremony will take place on 25 December.
In mathematics, participants will be given 4 tasks and 4 hours and 30 minutes to solve them, and in computer science, participants will be given 4 tasks and 5 hours to solve them.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the Olympiad is to raise awareness of the outstanding scientist Lutfi Zadeh and his contribution to science among schoolchildren worldwide, to ensure friendship among talented young people from different countries, and to create an interest in in-depth study of mathematics and informatics among schoolchildren.
