Education Minister is elected as a president of Azerbaijan Basketball Federation
On 14 December, the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation held a report-election conference.
Speaking at the event, Youth and Sports Minister Farid Gaibov welcomed the participants to the conference and wished them every success.
Nadir Nasibov, president of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, then briefed on the Federation's activities in recent years.
New elections were then held for the Federation's leadership. Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was elected as the new president of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation.
The conference also elected Simuzar Feyzullayeva, Vilayat Valiyev, Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli and Elnur Aliyev as members of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation.
At the conclusion of the event, Chingiz Huseynzadeh, vice-president of the National Olympic Committee, wished success to the Federation's new leadership.
