A delegation led by the chairman of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey visits our country
A delegation led by Erol Ozvar, the chairman of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
During their visit, the guests paid tribute to the memory of nation-wide leader Heydar Aliyev by laying wreaths and flowers at his grave in the Alley of Honor. The grave of an outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also visited. In the Alley of Martyrs, the Turkish delegation led by Erol Ozvar honored the memory of those who died fighting for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, laid carnations on their graves, and visited the monument "Turkic Martyr", erected in memory of the Turkish martyr soldiers.
Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Education, met with a delegation led by Erol Ozdar, Chairman of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey. Emin Amrullayev expressed his satisfaction with the meeting of the Turkish delegation in our country, calling it an important step toward strengthening ties between the two brotherly countries in the field of higher education.
In his turn, Erol Ozvar, Chairman of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey thanked Emin Amrullayev for the invitation and warm welcome.
There was a lively discussion about current higher education cooperation and future prospects. The dual diploma program in agriculture implemented since September 2021 between the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and the University of the Aegean as part of the "State Program for Improving International Competitiveness of Higher Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023" was deemed a success of bilateral cooperation.
