Azerbaijani secondary school students to participate in International Biology Olympiad
Four Azerbaijani secondary school students will participate in the 29th International Biology Olympiad (IBO 2018), which will take place in the Iranian capital of Tehran from 15 to 22 July.
Split into practical and theoretical stages, IBO 2018 will feature 280 secondary school students from 70 countries.
Azerbaijani secondary school students have won 3 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze medals at the International Biology Olympiad so far.
The International Biology Olympiad was launched in the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia) in 1990, featuring 22 secondary school students from 6 countries.
