Meeting with Georgian minister of education and science
Acting Minister of Education, Deputy Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with a delegation led by Georgia`s Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, which is on a working visit in Baku, on April 20.
They discussed the current state of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and future collaboration prospects. The sides highlighted education reforms conducted in Azerbaijan and Georgia, and noted the importance of experience exchange in developing the education sector.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli is in Baku to attend a semi-annual conference of the International Association of University Presidents, which is hosted by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University under the theme “Globalization and New Dimensions in Higher Education” on April 18-20.
