SABAH students conquer Heydar Summit
Students of SABAH groups have climbed Heydar Aliyev Summit in Shahdag National Park on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Accompanied by guides, they climbed the summit according to a pre-defined route on May 9-10.
They spent a night at a campsite at the foot of Gizil Gaya mountain range, before ascending the summit located at an altitude of 3751m, where they paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev.
Students, who climbed the summit, were presented with certificates.
Launched in 7 higher education institutions in 2014-2015 academic year, SABAH groups are now available in 11 higher education institutions, offering better education and development opportunities. It is one of the key projects in the country`s higher education system. Applications for SABAH groups are currently open for 2016-2017 academic year.
