Azerbaijani pupil wins world karate championship
A pupil of the Specialized Olympic Reserve Children`s and Youth Sport School No. 12 has won a world karate championship among children born between 2002-2009.
Huseyn Mammadli, 13, defeated all of his 15 opponents to win the first Children`s World Karate Championship in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The championship saw the participation of fighters from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Ukraine, Iraq and Algeria.
