The next success of Azerbaijani schoolchildren
The XII International named after Zhautykov Olympiad in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science is held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Azerbaijani schoolchildren also take part in the Olympiad, which was held on January 13-19, 2016, in order to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
The Olympiad is attended by about 25 countries, including Romania, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Azerbaijani schoolchildren will return to their homeland with great achievements. Thus, Azerbaijani schoolchildren, worthily representing the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan, won 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal in physics, 2 bronze medals in mathematics and 2 bronze medals in computer science (a total of 7 medals).
It should be noted that Azerbaijani schoolchildren have once again achieved success in the international competition in computer science after a five-year break.
