Minister of Education received newly appointed Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan
On November 25, Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Education, received Aurelia Bouchez, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Azerbaijan.
Mikayil Jabbarov expressed his condolences to the ambassador in connection with the terrible terrorist attacks occurred in Paris on November 13.
The ambassador said that she was impressed by support provided by the Azerbaijani side and its principled position based on tolerance.
The Minister of Education noted that he met with his French counterpart and attended the opening of the Department of Literature and Culture named after Nizami Ganjavi at the University of Upper Alsace within the framework of his working visit to the Republic of France on November 2-4.
Expressing his satisfaction with the activities of Baku French Lyceum and the continuation of the negotiations on the establishment of the Azerbaijani-French University, Mikayil Jabbarov emphasized the importance of further development of cooperation in the field of education.
