Nobel laureate visited the Ministry of Education
On November 11, Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Education, received Nobel laureate George Smoot, who is paying a visit to Baku.
During the meeting, they discussed the new innovative ways of the organization of scientific studies and teaching process at higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, the use of modern technological innovations in the field of science and other issues of mutual interest.
It should be noted that G. Smoot was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 2006. He arrived in Baku to participate in the ceremony dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
