    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

The presentation of the new project on staff training for a specialty of Hotel administrator

On October 13, presentation of the new project on staff training for a specialty of Hotel administrator was held at the Baku vocational lyceum No.5.

The event was attended by Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Education, Elizabeth White, director of the British Council in Azerbaijan, Marc Ehler, Managing Director of Absheron Hotel Group.

The main objective of the project conducted jointly by the Ministry of Education, "British Council" and Absheron Hotel Group is to implement a new program on a specialty of Hotel administrator at the Baku vocational lyceum No.5. This program will enable to enhance the capacity of teachers, to prepare the curriculum in line with national standards and qualifications, to carry out experience programs based on the development of practical skills of pupils.

Within the framework of the project, comprising state-business cooperation, pupils will do an internship during their study. Specialists from the UK will be involved in the process of preparing the trainings and curricula, designed for teachers.

A pilot project, implemented with the participation of the parties representing the private sector, will be used as a model for the institutions of primary vocational-professional education in Azerbaijan.

It was planned to implement the modern educational programs on a 1-year specialty of Hotel administrator in the academic year 2016-2017 at the Baku vocational lyceum No.5 in order to ensure the sustainability of the project.
