Azerbaijani athletes have won 12 medals at the International Student Festival
The national teams of the Ministry of Education have achieved success at the Third International Student Festival held among the CIS countries.
Teams of schoolchildren from 12 countries have competed in 7 sports at the Festival held in Ulyanovsk, Russia. During the competitions, our country has been represented by basketball, chess, table tennis and badminton teams consisting of students of sporting schools operating under the Ministry of Education.
Our representatives have won second place in basketball and chess, third place in table tennis in the standings. In addition, two Azerbaijani athletes have won third place in badminton in doubles competition. In general, our athletes have won 12 medals in the competitions.
