Ongoing research by the Ministry of Education
The graduates of the Specialized Children-Youth Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves successfully performed at the 8th European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics.
The 8th European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics, held in Riesa, Germany, was attended by more than 200 athletes from 27 countries. In the competition, our country was represented by Agasif Rahimov, Seymur Jafarov, Murad Akbarov and Nurjan Jabbarli, graduates of Gymnastics School and members of the national team.
In tense struggle for the age group 12-18 years, Seymur Jafarov and Murad Akbarov took 2nd place and won silver medal in men's pair, Agasif Rahimov and Nurjan Jabbarli took 3rd place and won bronze medal in mixed pair.
