Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

In connection with the start of the school year, the administration and collaborators of the Baku city Education Department visited the schools located in Baku.

Jeyhun Bayramov, Deputy Minister, visited secondary school No. 220 in Baku and congratulated students, parents and teachers on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, and wished them good luck in the new school year.

At the same time, along with the day of knowledge, the opening ceremony of the project "Application of inclusive education at the primary education level" was held in full secondary school No. 220 of Baku city. The opening ceremony was attended by Jeyhun Bayramov, Deputy Minister, Huseyn Asgerov, Deputy Head, Ms. Nafisa Binte Shafique, representative of UNICEF Azerbaijan, Sadagat Valiyeva, member of the Milli Mejlis, head of Nizami district organization of New Azerbaijan Party, and Gulnaz Israfilova, Deputy Head of the Executive Power of Nizami district.

It should be noted that the purpose of educational policy in Azerbaijan is to provide quality education for all citizens and in the reform process of education system, the main attention is directed to the creation of equal opportunities for children representing national minorities, refugees and internally displaced persons, and for children with special needs to receive a quality education.

In this regard, the project "Application of inclusive education at the primary education level" is being tested in secondary schools No. 220 and No. 138 of Baku city in accordance with the Order No. 311 of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 18, 2015.

2 inclusive classes were opened in secondary school No. 220 within the framework of the project "Application of inclusive education at the primary education level". It should be noted that 11 first grades (265 children), including that 2 of them are inclusive education classes, and a total of 2,200 pupils are currently studying at secondary school No. 220.
