  • Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Education is the future of the nation!

According to the results of the academic year 2014-2015, 131 gold and 21 silver medals were awarded to students, completed secondary education with special achievements, by the Ministry of Education.

69 of them represented the schools operating in Baku and 83 of them represented the schools operating in the regions. 135 of them received education in state schools, 17 of them in private schools. 75 of them were boys and 77 of them were girls.
The candidates for medals were determined in accordance with the "Rules of awarding gold and silver medals to graduates completed secondary education with special achievements".
During the awarding process, along with the special achievements of candidates in education within the study period in secondary schools, such factors as differing in exemplary behavior and winning a high-profile award in subject Olympiads, national and international knowledge competitions, contests and projects were taken into account.
Also, the graduates, who have shown good results in education, were awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education.
