"Vocationally biased classes" project
Date of creation: 2019-2020 academic year
Aim: To prepare students for vocational education on the basis of general secondary education, to develop their skills appropriate to their professional specialties and to ensure students’ preparation for the labor market by providing them with initial knowledge and skills in the relevant professions.
Information: Upon completion vocationally-biased classes the students will not only receive a secondary school diploma, but also master the relevant specialties, which in turn will help them to find a suitable job in the labor market.
Coverage: The project currently covers 326 schools and 1 specialized school as a pilot project, 536 classes and 1 specialized education class, 1073 specialized groups, more than 9,000 students and up to 1400 teachers.
Within the framework of the project, professional qualifications are taught in 4 areas: carpenter, locksmith, cook, combi-air conditioning fitter, furniture fitter, agronomist, tailor, confectioner, hairdresser, manicure-pedicure master, waiter-barista, photographer-videographer, telephone repairer, “help desk” specialist, graphic designer, and computer operator.
