“Schoolchild’s Friend” project
A safe school, a confident parent
Date of creation: 2016
Aim: To create a safe school environment for teachers and students and to provide primary medical and psychological care in case of emergency.
Information: Anyone between the ages of 21 and 30 who has a higher education and is a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan can apply to participate in the "Schoolchild's Friend" project. A person chosen as a schoolchild’s friend shall participate in ensuring the all-round development of the personal qualities and intellectual development of the child at each age stage and in the formation of the child’s skills of self-discipline and self-development.
Scope: The project is being implemented in 238 schools, including 191 schools in Baku, 12 schools in Absheron, 23 schools in Sumgayit, 6 schools in Ganja, 2 schools in Lankaran, 2 schools in Jalilabad, and 2 schools in Masalli.
Since last year, the project has covered the cities of Baku, Absheron and Sumgayit, and the towns of Ganja, Lankaran, Masalli and Jalilabad.
