“Development of community based pre-school education" project
Date of creation: 2017
Goal: To cover 4 areas of children's development: social-emotional development, cognitive and general knowledge, creative development and physical development.
Information: A survey has been conducted among 486 children aged 3-5 year old and 435 parents involved in 25 community based pre-school education centres located in 9 regions of Azerbaijan for the academic year 2020-2021. Based on the results, a positive trend is observed in children's performance on 8 indicators of mental development and general knowledge after the children’s early education experience.
Scope of the coverage: 16,041 children aged 3-4 year old in 850 community based pre-school education groups operating in 55 cities and districts, benefit from pre-school classes in these groups.
