“One” student-voluntary program
Date of creation: 2015 (The program was registered with the state as the “One” Volunteer Student Cooperation Public Association from 2 August 2019)
Goal: Conducting extensive and constant advocacy work to inculcate and promote the essence of volunteering to students, developing a unified database of student volunteers, organizing training programs and courses, implementing measures to broaden and improve the intellectual level and outlook of student volunteers.
Information: It is a long-term program created to systematize the work with student volunteers who play a major role in Azerbaijan's political and economic development, to encourage volunteering, and to assess students' extracurricular activities in 6 different areas: Learn, Teach, Survive, Let Others To Survive, Discover, Enjoy.
Scope of the coverage: In the academic year 2021-2022, the program covered 26 higher education institutions, 18 secondary schools, and 10 vocational schools. With more than 27,000 members, the program organized more than 260 events during the year and a total of 42,866 hours of volunteering was recorded. In the academic year 2021-2022, the program engaged around 100 student volunteers to support the organization of events in the Karabakh region (Shusha, Aghdam) and the reconstruction of the region.
