Event related to january 20 national mourning day held on january 19 in the Ministry of Education.
Employees of head office of The Minstry of Education and history experts took part in the event.
First of all, minute of silence made for memory of our compatriots who have been killed on january 20, 1990.
Firudin Gurbanov, deputy minister of education informed about the massarces commited against the civilians by USSR military unions in the Baku city and other regions of country 25 years ago, also stressed that our nation demonstrate firmness of his struggle made for our democracy and sovereignity with the same event that is one of most important factors of our blood memory.
Necessity emerged on delivery of the truths on the events taking place in the case where republic is surrounded by information blockade to world community operatively. At that time, national leader Heydar Aliyev accused the responsible persons for tragedy of our nation not only in one step of Kremlin but also before all world despite all pressures and threats.
Persons who make a speech in the event talked about the reasons derived from the same tragedy.
