Minister of Science and Education visits Georgia
At the invitation of Georgian Minister of Education and Science Georgi Amilakhvari, a delegation headed by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev is visiting Georgia.
As part of the visit, members of the Azerbaijani delegation visited the monument to the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev in “Heydar Aliyev” Park in Tbilisi, laid a wreath in front of the monument and honored the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Then a meeting was held between Emin Amrullaev and Giorgi Amilakhvari. The meeting was also attended by Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of ADA University.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of education between the two countries. The activity of schools in which education is carried out in the Azerbaijani and Georgian languages in both countries and the mutual exchange of textbooks for these schools were highly appreciated.
The meeting concluded with a signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between ADA University and Tbilisi State University named after Ivane Javakhishvili, Georgian Technical University and Kutaisi International University.
