The amateur video competition, organized for volunteers studying in SABAH groups by the Ministry of Education within the framework of "SABAH volunteer" program, has ended.
The competition entitled "SABAH LIVE" is held through the official Facebook page of SABAH groups. This competition has been organized with an aim of demonstrating the activity of "SABAH volunteer" and the creativity of volunteers.
The winner of the competition, held to support the First European Games, has been determined through a selection process carried out in 2 phases. In the first stage, 12 amateur videos (these videos were prepared by volunteers), expressing support of "SABAH Volunteer" for the Baku 2015 First European Games, were posted on the official Facebook page of SABAH groups. The amateur videos, presented in the first stage of a five-day competition, have received more than 3100 likes and 11 600 views. 5 most liked and watched videos have been presented to the jury.
By the decision of the jury, representing 7 higher education institutions, the amateur video (to watch the video clip:http://goo.gl/eFLKPD), prepared by the authorship of Ramal Veliyev, approved by 422 Facebook users and received more than 1000 views, has been selected as winner of “SABAH LIVE”. The winner of the competition will be awarded with ticket to the opening ceremony of the Baku 2015 First European Games in "Volunteer Town" to be organized by "SABAH Volunteer".
It should be noted that "SABAH volunteer" program, carried out with the participation of students of SABAH groups, plays a significant role in increasing the social activity and applying knowledge to practice, as well as developing management skills and leadership potential of students without leaving the academic training and by involving students in voluntary activity.
SABAH groups have been organized from Educated, Skilled and Trained students studying at higher education institutions under the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic in order to improve the quality of education in higher education, to ensure personnel training in accordance with modern requirements and to create the new environment in the higher education system. Currently, SABAH groups cover 755 students in 34 specialties in 7 higher education institutions (Baku State University, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Azerbaijan University of Languages).
