• Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

The zonal stage of the Republican contest for artistic performance, held among pupils and students of the first vocational and specialized secondary educational institutions of the Ministry of Education, ended.

The main goal of the contest is to organize the leisure time of pupils and students of the first vocational and specialized secondary educational institutions, to identify talented young people, to improve culture of performance of youth, to instill love for music, poetry, dance in them, to develop work, carried out in order to study works of Azerbaijani composers, folk songs and national dances, to enhance the national-spiritual and aesthetic upbringing of the young generation.
The contest was held on the nominations of pop songs of Azerbaijani composers, tasnifs and folk songs, poetry, national dance.
The zonal stage of the contest was held in Ganja, Lankaran, Gabala, Agdjabedi, Shamakhi, Sumgait, Shirvan and Baku from March 2 to April 16. The pupils and students, taking 1st and 2nd places in each category in the zonal stage, gained the right to participate in the Republic phase that will be held at Baku Social Pedagogical College on April 24.
It should be noted that the employees of the Republic Creative House for Young Learners together with the jury contributed to the fair organization of the contest and the selection of the most talented students from the participants for the Republic phase.
