Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Pupil admission in VII, VIII və IX grades of the Physics, mathematics and information science lyceum, the Chemistry-biological lyceum and the Republican Humanitarian Subjects Gymnasium named after A.S.Makarenko for the academic year 2015-2016 has been announced by the Ministry of Education.

Different programs are applied for the education of talented pupils in the gymnasiums and lyceums, they are provided with a quality education. The gymnasiums and lyceums, having the experienced teaching staff and distinguishing by traditions, are equipped with the necessary material-technical basis in order to ensure higher training level of the pupils. Interactive teaching is carried out with the use of high technology. The relevant centers, operating in the educational institutions, aim to prepare pupils for local and international olympiads.
