The semi-final stage of the National Science Olympiads held among pupils on humanitarian and technical disciplines came to end
The semi-final stage of the National Science Olympiads attended by 3700 pupils were held in 11 centers located in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Shirvan, Sheki, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Shamakhi, Aghdash, Khachmaz and Nakhchivan.
The participants were tasked to solve 25-30 tests. According to the rules, the pupils answered the questions of humanitarian disciplines (Azerbaijani language and literature, history and geography) within 90 minutes and technical disciplines (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics) within 3 hours. In this stage of the National Science Olympiads, the exams on informatics were held on computer in 3 centers located in Baku, Ganja, Nakhchivan.
According to the results of the semi-final stage, about 400 candidates will have an opportunity to participate at the next final stage on eight disciplines.
Note that, the science olympiads are held in three stages. The first - regional stage of the Olympiad were attended by 22000 pupils on eight subjects.
