• Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Azerbaijan team on bike trek returned from international contest held in the Portugal.

Athletes of sport school of The Ministry of Education took part in the contest as members of Azerbaijan team.
More than 100 athletes of 10 countries (Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Switzerland, Australia, France, Russia and New Zeland) struggled in the 2nd category “Trofeu CAR Anadia” tournament of International Cycling Union.
Azerbaijan athletes achieved 2 gold and 1 bronze medal. Defeating all her rivals in the competition in both 200 and 500 meter distance, Olga Ismayilova leader of our team kept the highest place of honorary chair in both types.
Nijat Niftaliyev, young member of our team, athlete of Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Sport School No.8 of The Ministry of Education, kept the 3rd place in the sprint contest to 200 meter distance and achived right to take part in the final. Demonstrating confident performance in this phase of contest, our representative achieved bronze medal at the end. It is the first medal of 18 aged Nijat achieved in the international contests.
