Meeting of Ministers of Education from the Non-Aligned Movement member states kicks off
On November 29, the Ministry of Science and Education hosted an online meeting of the ministers of education from member states of the Non-Aligned Movement.
In his opening remarks at the meeting, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev informed participants about steps taken to ensure the continuity of education in our country during the pandemic, the activities implemented, and achievements gained in the field of education towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
Stefania Giannini, UNESCO's Assistant Director General for Education, Andreas Schleicher, Special Advisor on Education Policy and Director of Education and Skills at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and Ministers of Education from member states of the Non-Aligned Movement spoke at the event, describing the challenges facing education and sharing their experiences with regard to ongoing innovations in the field of education.
During the meeting, Ordukhan Gahramanzadeh, head of the youth organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, also spoke and informed the participants in detail about the activities of the organization.
