The awareness campaigns were held among schoolchildren within the framework of the "World Space Week".

Within the framework of the "World Space Week", specialists in astrophysics gave interesting lectures on space and astronomy to 300 pupils, studying at secondary schools in Baku and Sumgait, and to Circle members of the Ecological Training and Experience Centers. In addition, students of higher education institutions also participated in the awareness campaigns. Films relating to the theme were featured and interactive discussions were held. The Astronomy Night was held at “Gala” State Historical and Ethnographic Reserve with the participation of schoolchildren and the starry sky was observed through telescopes. "National Geographic" magazines and other gifts were presented to the participants of the event, which was free of charge.
